=3rd Friday=Look What the Wind Blew In! Two artists from New Mexico

Two artists from New Mexico will exhibit concurrently this month.  In the main gallery, a retrospective  of the work of Ken Roberts will show.  Originally from Scotland, moving permanently to the United States in 1985, Ken’s work has appeared in over 100 exhibitions.  Four major series are represented in this exhibition….diverse in media and presentation, but all driven by one major concern, that of social politics and justice.

In the courtyard, Ken Van Brott:  Fences in the Landscape will feature mixed media sculptures of fire wood and acrylic.

Story Girl Release Party!


Saturday, April 11, the always artful Paul Mosier will host a release party for his newest novel, Story Girl.  There will be food and drink for kids and grown-ups, Breezy Pops, character portrayals and a reading from the author at 7pm.  Doors open at 6pm, and there will be tons of fun until 9pm.

    Through installed work and paintings, Katherine invites you to walk through and experience ebb, flow and balance in “The I of the Storm and the Process of Peace,  a journey through the wave.  Through the use of simple materials such as paper and string , the artist attempts to capture wave energy and translate it into tangible expression in her tapestries.
